| Single Wire (0.9mm, 1.4mm, 2.3mm, 4mm, 5mm) |
1.
Strip EL wire¡¯s internal and external coating by about 0.9mm ~ 1.3mm. At this time, please be careful that external two strands are not broken. |
2.
Cut Dia. 1/8¡± (about 3.2mm) shrink tube (recommended by Japan Ssmimoto Co., Ltd.) by about 20mm and then, insert it on connected electric wire. |
3.
Solder EL wire¡¯s internal thick wire and electric wire¡¯s one end together. |
[Caution]
In soldering EL wire, use min. amount of flux if needed but be careful that it is not stained on thick wire(of EL wire)¡¯s coated layer. (they might be chemically reacted) |
4.
Push previously inserted shrink tube on soldered part and heat it. |
5.
EL Wire¡¯s external side: twist two thin wires together and solder it on electric wire¡¯s other end. Insert shrink tube of Dia. 1/4¡± (about 6.4mm) in the electric wire in advance. |
6.
Push previously inserted shrink tube of 1/4¡± on soldered part and heat it. |
7.
As for finishing work of EL wire¡¯s other end not connected with inventor, strip EL wire¡¯s external coating and internal coating by about 0.5mm like figure, pull back two inside thin wires¡¯ external coating, and then, insert shrink tube of 1/8¡± (about 3.2mm) on it. |
| 8. |
Cover shrink tube on EL wire¡¯s both poles well and heat it. And then, when you press shrink tube¡¯s end by using wide part of flier, etc., internal adhesive is stuck on it like figure, which plays waterproof role. |
